Louise G. Pence, 73, of 1023 W. George died Sunday, Jan. 23, 1994, at her home.
Born Feb. 23, 1920, in Michigan City, Ind., she married Samuel H. Tolan on June 20, 1939, in Rensselaer, Ind. She later married Wayne Pence and he died in 1956. One grandson also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Shirley Behymer of Peoria and Lucinda Alexander of Springfield; and a friend, Dave Sperry, with whom she made her home for the past 17 years.
She last worked at the Hotel Pere Marquette and the Holiday Inn, retiring in 1958.
Graveside services will be at Springdale Cemetery.
