Michael P. "Mike" Miller, 92, of Ramsey died Feb. 7, 2006 at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital, Effingham, Illinois.
Mr. Miller was born January 31, 1914 in Ramsey, the son of John T. and Anna M. (Thull) Miller. He married Ruby Vera Allen on August 27, 1939 in Ramsey. She died September 23, 1995, He was a retired carpenter and farmer. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ramsey; past member of Carpenters Union, Vandalia Moose Lodge #1447 and Knights of Columbus. He was a former director of Independence School and former member of Ramsey Community School Board of Education.
He is survived by sons, Larry and wife Mary Ann Miller of Ramsey; John and wife Linda Miller of Herrick; Jim and wife Linda Miller of Decatur; daughters, Mr. LeRoy (Carol) Fritzsche, Springfield; Mrs. David (Patricia) Harris, Mulberry Grove; Mrs. David (Michele) Bretz and Mrs. Tom (Kathy) Karainanis, all of Springfield; Mrs Ken (Connie) Mayo of St. Louis, MO.; Sister, Kathryn Murray, Hillsboro; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, wife, one great grandchild, two brothers and three sisters.
