SPENCER, W.Va. - Ada R. Adams, 86, formerly of Spencer, W.Va., died at 10 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2010, at the Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, W.Va.
She was born July 30, 1923 in Clarksburg, W.Va., the daughter of Rudolph and Daisy Merriman Wolfe.
She graduated from Victory High School in Clarksburg and was a member of the Second Congregational Church in Marietta.
She was married to Edward Nelson Adams for 25 years and he preceded her in death in September 1968.
She is survived by two daughters, Judith D. Saltzwedel (Richard) of Marietta and Trudy M. Clegg (Dave) of Sandyville, W.Va.; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.
At her request she will be cremated with memorial services to be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
