RUBY (CAFARO) PERRY
Ruby Perry, who worked at the Boathouse restaurant and DiCamillo's Bakery, both in Niagara Falls, died Thursday (April 8, 2004) in Fairchild Manor Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. She was 90.
The former Ruby Cafaro was born in Hillsville, Pa., moved to Niagara Falls as a young child with her family and attended local schools.
She married Anthony Perry in 1932. He died in 1977.
Mrs. Perry formerly lived in Niagara Falls and in Wheatfield before moving to Fairchild Manor.
Survivors include a brother, Nick Cafaro of the Town of Niagara; a sister, Marie Galbo of Niagara Falls; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A Rite of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. today in Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1055 North Military Road, following prayers at 8:45 in M.J. Colucci and Son Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
