of Wilburton Dies
WILBURTON---Mrs. Lula June Allen, 95, who lived most of her life in Wilburton, died Tuesday in a nursing home here.
She was born August 13,1884 in Tupelo, Mississippi. She was a member of the Centerpoint Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Allie McMahan of Detroit, Michigan; two sons, floyd and Arthur Allen of Wilburton; a brother, Aud Denton of Wilburton; twenty-nine grandchildren; and a number of great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday at 2pm, at the Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Brannon officiating.
Interment will follow in the Centerpoint Cemetery.
