She was born to Charles M. Jennings and Mary Elizabeth Herrington Jennings. She had lived most of her life in Anderson County. She was a housewife and a member of First Baptist Church of Neches.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoarce Baty in May 1975.
Survivors include her sons, Charles Baty of Clarkston, Michigan, Harold Baty of Shelbyville , Lee Roy Baty of Chandler and Sam Baty of Houston; daughters, Leona Wearden of Palestine, Mildred Fielder of Beaumont, Mary Baty of Neches and Ida Baty Todd of Jackson, Mississippi; 15 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Pallbearers: Billy D. Cannon, Jimmy Martin, Butch Aills, JW Stewart, Bethune McDonald and Howard Daly.
