WAVERLY - Aaron "Bro" Bailey, 60 died October 7, 2014 in John Randolph Medical Center, Hopewell. A native of Surry County, Va., he was the son of the late Virginia and Walter Bailey, Sr. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Wakefield, a veteran of the U.S Army and employed at the Sussex Correction Center. He Is survived by three sisters, Mary Bailey #James# and Vestine Bailey both of Wakefield and Virgina Harris of New York; two brothers James H. Bailey and Calvin Bailey #Vermell# all of Wakefield; aunts, Dilsey Ricks and Perline Judkins of Wakefield, Pearl McDaniel of Maryland and Lucy McDaniel of Dendron; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Leslie Holloway, officiating. Viewing 6-8 P,M. Tuesday and a hour prior to the service Wednesday at the Church. Burial will be in the Bailey Family Cemetery, Wakefield. Arrangements by Poole's Funeral Home, 757-357-4742.
