Ronelle Swartz Orth, age 65, of North Canton, died on Monday night November 14, 2011. She was born In Canton on September 3, 1946 and graduated from Hoover High School. She earned her BS in Education from Ashland University and completed graduate studies at Walsh University. Ronelle worked at Manor Care and retired as District manager for Genesis Health Care. She was an active member of St Jacob’s Lutheran Church and the church’s book club and worship committee. She participated in activities of Parents Without Partners, and enjoyed traveling, dancing and the outdoors.
Preceded in death by an infant son, two infant grandchildren and her father William “Bill” Swartz. She is survived by her son Chris Jr. (Rhonda Deemer) Orth of Canal Fulton; grandchildren Rachel, Patrick and Jacob; mother Mildred Swartz of North Canton; sister Deborah (Ray) Haggerty of Massillon; close friend Dennis Davis of Louisville; and nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Friday 12 noon to 2 PM in St. Jacob’s Lutheran Church. Funeral services are 2 PM in the church with Rev. Dr. Leah Schafer officiating. Final resting place is Mount Peace Cemetery.
