Willis Fredrick Howell, 85,of Seaside, Oregon, formerly of eastern Idaho, died June 5, 1992, at Seaside following a long illness.

He was born may 30, 1907, at Warm River to William Preston and Harriet Susanna Howell.

On August 15, 1931, he married Lillian Hiatt at Rigby. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They where later divorced. He married Laura Marie Anderson February 25, 1965 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.

He was an active member of the LDS Church and served a mission in Jacksonville, Florida.

Survivors include his wife of Seaside; children Joyee Thompson of Jacksonville, Gary W. Howell of Idaho Falls, and Deanna Hensley of Mackay; a sister Elfonda Haddon of Seaside; sixteen grandchildren; and twenty four great grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by eight brothers and sisters. He was buried in the Evergreen Cemetery in Seaside.
