ATKINSON, Ernestine, 99, of Tucson died January 7, 2013. Ernestine was born August 10, 1913 in Jackson County, Ohio. She married her husband, Robert on September 21, 1940 and moved to Arizona in 1948. She and her husband opened and built a successful business, Maico-Atkinson Hearing Aid Center. Preceded in death by husband, Robert C. Atkinson. Ernestine leaves behind her two sons, Robert W. Atkinson and Thomas D. (Anne T.) Atkinson; grandchildren, Christopher R. Taylor and Kevin C. (Kiersten) Taylor; great-grandchildren, Nicholas R. Taylor, Owen C. Taylor and Daxton Gray Taylor; nieces, Jill (Steve) Coulter, Carol (Don) Bobby and Debbie (Scott) Kyle and many nieces and nephews. Graveside inurnment Services will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S. Park Ave. Immediately following the service the family would like to meet friends at the Arizona Inn to celebrate Ernestine's life.
