The funeral service for Emil Goehring who died Saturday will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Highmore, with the Rev. Arthur H. Schmitt officiating. Burial will be in Highmore City Cemetery.
Goehring was born July 18, 1902 at Armour, the son of Andrew J. and Sophia Goehring. As a child he moved to Hyde County with his parents and resided in that area all his life. He married the former Josephine Kuper in 1936. He had been a resident of Prairie Center Rest Home, Miller, since 1968.
Survivors include two sons, Edwin, Utah, and Larry, Kansas City, Mo.; one daughter, Joyce, Rapid City; one brother Edwin, Denver, Colo.; three sisters, Mrs. Victor (Kathryti) Stoner, San Diego, Calif., Mrs. George (Emma) Smith, Saint Onge, and Mrs. George (Martha) Huss, Huron; two half-brothers, Raymond, Ft. Pierre, and Bernard, Sacramento, Calif.; two half-sisters, Mrs. Virgil (Agnes) Stuart, Ventura, Calif., and Mrs. Merle (Ruth) Wescott, Sioux Falls; one step-sister, Funeral arrangements were announced by the Hurd Funeral Home. Seaman FAULKTON - The funeral service for Mrs. Leonard Seaman who died Monday at Dakota Midland Hospital in Aberdeen will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the United Church of Faulkton with the Rev. John Brooks officiating. Burial will be in the Faulkton Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Jarvis Brown, Carlos Sun ne, Warren Matter, William Ingalls, James Kretchman and Kenneth Deiter, active; and H. E. Mundt, Joseph Greenan, George Kretchman, H. O. Turner, C. E. Tanner, George Kutschke, E. H. Matter and W. E. Cermak, honorary.
