GREENVILLE - Margaret E. Yount age 88, of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 12:11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014 at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville.

Margaret was born Jan. 5, 1926 in Portland, Indiana to the late Alva and Dorothy (Mills) Journay. In addition to her parents, Margaret was also preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Yount; daughter, Linda Yount; brothers, Paul Journay and Richard Journay; and sister, Garnet Tomlinson.

Margaret retired from Neff Lettering in Greenville where she worked in shipping and receiving. Margaret was a member of the EUM Church in Greenville.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Sylvia McKibben officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery in the new section. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
