Sheboygan Press, Tues. May 25, 1993, p. A2:3. Mrs. Margaret Gasser, 83, formerly of 1904 Union Ave., died Sun. May 23, 1993 at Sunny Ridge. She was born Mar. 25, 1910 in the Town of Mitchell, a daughter of the late Henry and Mae Foley Smith. She attended local schools. Margaret was a member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church and had been employed at the Dillingham Co. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia (Franklin) Tomazin, Sheboygan; four grandchildren, Patrick Tomazin and Debbie Lynn (Ron) Reinholz, Sheboygan; Tamara Margaret (Glenn) Gruenke, Aurora IL; and Colleen Ann (David) Kapellen, Sheboygan Falls; three great-grandchildren, Paige Rose Gruenke and Scott and Jennifer Reinholz; a brother, Donald Smith, Sheboygan; four sisters, Maymie (Lloyd) Bintzler, Dolly Nack, Sheboygan; Katherine Chadwick, Grand Rapids MI; and Helen Smith, Mesa AZ. She was preceded in death by a sister and four brothers. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Claver Church by the Rev. Edward Griesemer, SCJ. Burial will take place in St. Mary Cemetery, Cascade. Mass will be preceded by family rites at 10:30 a.m. at the Habermann Funeral Home, 805 N. Sixth St. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday (TODAY). A parish vigil will be held there at 7 p.m. today. A memorial fund has been established in Margaret Gasser's name.
