She was born in Coffee Springs, AL the daughter of the late Walter C. and Irene Dendy Craig.
She was a homemaker and a member of Smokerise Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, John Mercer of Atlanta; her daughter, Beth Odom of Atlanta; and her son, Craig Mercer of Atlanta.
Memorial Services will be held at 3 pm Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013 in the chapel of Floral Hills Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Moor officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:00 to 3:00 at the funeral home.
