Mrs. Caroline Moser Buried Here Tuesday
Mrs. Caroline Moser, 67, was buried Tuesday at Crown Hill cemetery after funeral services conducted by Rev. T. M. Kingsley. She died Saturday, succumbing to diabetes after a struggle of 28 years with the disease.
She was born Caroline Blatter on Aug. 1, 1879, in Berne, Switzerland and came to this country in 1894. She arrived at Kalispell that year and in 1898 became the bride there of Alex Moser. The family moved to Cut Bank in 1944 and have been living at 34 First avenue southwest.
Mrs. Moser is survived by her husband; a son, Albert, at Pendleton, Ore.; two daughters, Mrs. Emil Peterson and Mrs. Ray Momberg, both of Cut Bank; a brother, Fred Blatter of Chester, Iowa; a sister, Mrs. Arthur Goetch of Lime Springs, Iowa; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Relatives from a distance who attended the funeral included Mr. and Mrs. Albert Moser and grandson, Willis Moser, and daughter, Carrol Moser, Alfred Schulp, and Mrs. Robert Wilson, all of Kalispell, and State Game Warden A. A. O'Claire (nephew of the deceased) and Mrs. O'Claire of Helena.
