Private services were held for Russell Daniel Jenkins, 77, of Vienna who passed away Saturday at his home. Russell was born March 27, 1928 in Rappahannock County, Virginia the son of Herbert and Virgie (Fithcham) Jenkins.
Russell worked as a salesman for Nichols Bakery for 40 years, was a member of Mahoning Methodist Church, F & A Mason Rusty Penny Lodge in Vienna, and Loyal Order Moose Lodge in Warren.
His wife the former Ruth Waddington whom he married in 1954 passed away in 1994. Russell leaves four children; son; Russell Jenkins of Austintown, daughter; Debra McElroy of Vienna, son; Daniel Jenkins of Gaylord, MI, and a step-daughter; Phyllis Kovach of Ellsworth, two sisters; Pauline Husted of Fredericksburg Virginia and Catherine Hawkins of Culpepper, Virginia, one brother Herbert Jenkins of Orange County Virginia, ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Besides his wife, one sister Peggy Martin and two brothers Earl and Paul Jenkins precede Russell in death.
There are no calling hours. Arrangements were by Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family request material tributes take the form of donations to Hillside Form Health Hospice, c/o 8747 Squires Lane East, Warren, Ohio 44484. -
