Marion L. Grammer, of Estill, 72, Dies --
Marion Lee Grammer of Estill Springs died Thursday afternoon of last week at a Winchester hospital following an extended illness. He was 72.
Services were held last Friday afternoon at Watson Funeral Home in Winchester. The Rev. Woodward Adams officiated, and burial was in Franklin Memorial Gardens.
A native of Lynchburg, Mr. Grammer was a son of the late William Marion and Mary Jane Timmons Grammer. He was a Methodist.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Acklen Grammer; one son, Marion Lee Grammer, Jr., of Springfield, Virginia; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Nancy Royal, Murfreesboro; three sisters, Mrs. Herman Hinshaw, Winchester, Mrs. Lois Bryson and Miss Agnes Grammer, both of Somerset, Massachusetts; one brother, Luther Grammer, Winchester; and seven grandchildren.
