She was born May 12, 1897 in Reedsburg, Wisconsin the daughter of Fred J. and Emma (Meyer) Lange.
She was married to William Meyer on January 31, 1920, at Reedsburg.
Mrs. Meyer owned and operated the Delta Store from 1923 to 1947. She was also the postmistress of the Delta area for 22 years. She was school board clerk for nine years, and president of the Delta PTA for five years.
Mrs. Meyer was a charter member of the Western Bayfield County Historical Society, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Ashland.
She is survived by two sons, William and Marcus Meyer, both of Delta; two granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; one brother, Marcus Lange; and two sisters, Florence Ziemke and Constance Meyer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her huband, William, in 1978; two sisters, four brothers, and a son, Donald H.
Memorial services were held at the Schafer Funeral Home. Inurnment was in the Iron River Cemetery.
