She attended Clark High School in Penobscot and worked at St. Regis Paper Co. for a period of time in Bucksport Maine. She lived most of her life in Penobscot, where she had a busy life raising her four sons.
She was predeceased by her parents, brother-in-law, John White and the love of her life, husband, Robert "Bob" Grindle. Jeanette is survived by a sister, Helen White and an Aunt Shirley Crowell; four sons, Timothy Bishop and wife, Connie of Bucksport, Theordore Bishop and wife, Wanda of Herford, Arizona and Eugene and Andrew Bishop of Penobscot; seven grandchildren, Elise Amico, Taylor Bishop, Rebecca Harriman, Nicole Bishop, Ericka Bishop, Kali and Kody Grindle and six great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters in law, James and Jodie Grindle, Jane Tannehill, Phil and Alberta Whitney and Franklin and Norma Grindle. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and friends.
Per Jeanette's wishes there will be no funeral services. Memorial contributions can be made to the Shriner's (Boston) Children Hospital, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa FL 33607, or the Penobscot Volunteer Fire Dept, Box 20 in Penobscot ME 04476.
