CARLISLE, Theodore "Ted," 72, of south Louisville, passed away Friday, October 23, 2009 after a prolonged and courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family. He was a native of Campbellsville, a retired employee of Mid West Veneer and a member at large of the American Legion Post.
Ted was preceded in death by his loving wife, Virginia, in 1995, mother, Lula Carlisle; brother, Kenneth; and a sister, Juanita Blythe.
Survivors include a daughter; two sons and three grandchildren.
Graveside service at 1 p.m. Monday at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Nunnelley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd.
The family wishes to thank Mr. Carlisle's Hosparus team for their kindness, support and care, especially to Sherresa.
