April 28, 1854—after 1895 IA census before 1900 U.S. census (Jacob widower)
Jacob Stillions & brother Samuel Stillions are together in household in 1900 U.S. census.
Samuel died on February 11, 1909, and is buried in Livermore, IA, but his memorial has incorrect parents attributed to him. The parents of Jacob 1850 & Samuel 1838 were Newton Stillions & Sarah "Jane" Carr Stillions in Windsor, Morgan County, OH, in 1850. They were in Allamakee County, Ia in 1854 census. Newton must have died before 1870 census which only shows Jane 58, and her sons Benjamin 22 and Jacob 21. In 1880, only Benjamin 32, lives with his mother, Jane, 69.

Jacob Stillions 1808, also buried in Union Cemetery Livermore, IA is the father of Pvt. Samuel W. Stillions 1837-1870, memorial # 80515632, and the uncle (not father) of Samuel Stillions May 1838--February 11, 1909. Sam's death certificate confirms his parents as Newton & Jane and Sam's will names his "cousin," Rebecca [Stillions] Brown (daughter of Jacob) his executor and residuary legatee. In 1860 census, Rebecca Stillions is aged 15 in household of her parents Jacob & Susan, in Downey, Cedar County, IA. Her brother, Samuel W. Stillions and his wife Elizabeth are also in Downey, IA. in the household next to that of his parents, Jacob & Susan.

Rebecca married Alexander in 1854.
