"Orlin J Dalrymple died at his home in Spartansburg Sunday morning at 3 o'clock, aged 73 years, 5 months and 6 days. He had been in failing health for some time and seriously ill for several weeks. Mr Dalrymple was born in Stockton, NY, and came to Centreville when a young man. On Sept 6, 1866, he was united in marriage with Miss Jennie Atherton, who survives him. To this union was born seven children, four boys and three girls, only two of whom survive, Clifford Dalrymple of Titusville and Roy Dalrymple living at home. The funeral will be held at the family home in Spartansburg on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and the interment will follow in the Rose Hill cemetery at Spartansburg."

"MANY ATTEND FUNERAL OF ORLIN DALRYMPLE - Spartansburg, May 7 - The funeral of Orlin J Dalrymple was conducted at the residence this afternoon, there being a large attendance of relatives and friends. Mr Dalrymple, who died Saturday morning, had been ill for about two months and had been a resident of Sparta township for many years. About two years ago he purchased an interest in the feed mill here from Theodore Bradley, and about a year ago he purchased the residence of Henry Woodruff, where he died."
