Tony was an immigrant. His main job was ditch-digging. He dug sewer lines in Hollywood and graves here at Forest Lawn. His daughters would say that he could "swear like a sailor" yet was a kind man. He lived just long enough to see his first great-grandson born. There is a photo of him, bed-ridden, yet smiling broadly while holding his infant great-grandson (The author's older brother.)
