GILBERT (--) Services for Ann R. Harmon of 309 Hayes Crossing will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Pond Branch United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. this evening at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.
Memorials may be made to Pond Branch United Methodist Church, The Brain Tumor Center at Duke University or Hospice Care of TriCounty.
Mrs. Harmon died April 27, 2001. She was the daughter of Romie T. Rikard of Gilbert and the late Lewie L. Rikard Jr. She was a graduate of Gilbert High School and the University of South Carolina. Mrs. Harmon was a fourth grade teacher at Gilbert Elementary School. She was a show person of Champion Rat Terriers and an avid breeder. She was a member of Pond Branch United Methodist Church where she was a soloist member of the choir, teacher of the Young Adult Sunday School class, a member of the Administrative Council and Chairperson of the Worship Committee.
Surviving are her husband, Michael Harmon; daughters, Lori and Ashleigh Harmon; son, Jeremy Harmon, all of Gilbert; mother of Gilbert; sisters, Jan R. Flynn and Nan Rikard, both of Gilbert.
