Carrie and Charles were were officially married on March 25, 1914 in Winchester, Kentucky. Charles owned a restaurant, in that city, and Carrie helped out by working there, as a cook. Mr. Jackson was still a resident of Winchester, when he passed away, at St. Joseph Hospital, from the effects of toxemia, related to a case of cancer.
Note: Charles parents were listed, on his DC, as Charles and Lizzie Jackson. I cannot find him at home, with a parent of either name in the census. The only Lizzie Jackson, in Clark County, with a son named Charles was Lizzie Austin Jackson. Her son Charles was ten years younger than this Charles and that Charles was present in her home in the 1900 census, while this Charles was living with Carrie Daniel.
