COLWELL, Daisy, 95, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015. She was born in Clay County, Kentucky on June 9, 1920 to Grant & Bradie (Couch) Bishop. Preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Colwell; daughters, Sarah Ledbetter & Reva Brown. Survived by 4 daughters, Gladys Barnes, Mayme Hypes (Jim), Nellie Pugh (Dwight), Betty Hackney (Jimmy); sons, John, Phill & Clayton, Jr.; 22 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren & 28 great great grandchildren; brother, Clinton Bishop; son-in-law, Earl Ledbetter; numerous niece, nephews, other relatives & many friends. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2015 at the GEORGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, “Northridge Chapel,” 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road. Rev. William Schilling, officiating. Interment Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday 12 noon, prior to the service, at the George C. Martin Funeral Home.
