Green-Wood Cemetery
Section 135, Public Lot 27263, Grave #1930.
Public lot graves, measuring about 4 by 8 feet in area, have room for only one stone apiece, limiting the space for inscribed text. A typical public lot grave can accommodate about 5 adults—more if those interred are infants or have been cremated. Many public lot graves are unmarked. Fortunately, there is a stone on this grave. Some individuals buried here are not memorialized by any currently visible or legible stone or inscription. A list of grave occupants, with burial dates, appears after the inscriptions.
