Freddie Bowmer, of Liberty, KY passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY. He was 64.

Born September 15, 1950 in Danville, KY, he was the son of the late Willie Clyde and Marie McBeath Bowmer. He mowed yards and loved to fish. Freddie was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a brother, Larry (and Rosina) Bowmer of Liberty; four sisters, Marcella (and Bobby) Maupin of Liberty, Alice Faye (and Tim) Smith of Lexington, Margaret (and Clifton) Hale of Liberty, and Ann Land of Louisville; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Maupin officiating. Burial is in Glenwood Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday from 6:00-9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Carl McAninch, Timothy Smith, Adam Smith, Chad Smith, Justin Bowmer and Aaron Bowmer. Honorary pallbearers are Bruce Nuckols, Clifton Hale, Billy Sallee, Bobby Maupin, Tim Smith, Jim Hargis, Gary and Judy Garner, J.L. Coe, and Jantzen Hale.
