My Uncle Peter died as an infant, in his mother's arms, as the bells were ringing to announce the Armistice. Peter was the firstborn child of Panayiotis and Maria Rouvelas. He was also the first of five of their babies to die. His mother was told all five babies died because she had "bad milk". Obviously, this can't be true for one main reason: she had three other children who survived.
