Lillie Sosebee Moose, 97, of Gastonia, went to be with her heavenly Father on November 17, 2014 at Courtland Terrace, Gastonia.

She was born March 27, 1917 in Habersham County, Georgia, daughter of the late Issac Sosebee and Ruth Sellers Sosebee.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and wonderful mother -in-law. She enjoyed painting, quilting, crocheting, knitting and flower gardening. Her greatest joy was cooking for family and friends. Mrs. Moose was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, Gastonia.

The family would like to give special thanks to the nursing staff of Courtland Terrace for their loving care of Lillie and also special thanks to the caring staff of Gaston Hospice.

Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.

Left to cherish her memory: sons, Boyce Moose and wife Linda of Gastonia, Rick Moose of Clover, Randy Moose of Wilmington, NC, Scott Moose and wife Tina of Gastonia, Barry Moose and wife Norma of Kings Mountain; daughter, Frankie Givens and husband Eddie of Clover; sister, Edith Joyner and husband Mackey of Florida; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; eleven great- great- grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband of 38 years, Hubert Boyce Moose; daughter, Shirley Bridgeman.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
