Mary Louise Billingsley, 93, of Shelbyville, died Thursday, July 1, 2004, at Heritage House Convalescent Center.

Born May 8, 1911, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Juan and Nellie E. (Waggoner) Adams. She married Hamilton R. Billingsley on June 23, 1928, and he preceded her in death in 1983.

Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Marion Billingsley of Grand Rapids, Mich.; seven grandchildren, David Billingsley and Nanette Havenan, both of Grand Rapids, MaryBeth Bott, Juli Myers, Edie Henzman, Rodney Craig and Joey Crain, all of Shelbyville; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by one son, Jack Billingsley; two daughters, Sharon Craig and Sue McColley; two brothers; and three sisters.

Mrs. Billingsley was a longtime Shelbyville resident.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Billingsley graduated from Shelbyville High School.

She was a member of Hope's Point Baptist Church, formerly known as Shelbyville Baptist Temple.

No visitation will be observed.

Graveside services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in Forest Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. David D. Humphrey officiating.
