Forrest F. Adams, 57, a former Shelbyville resident, died at his home at 6607 Beech Road in Indianapolis Friday.

Mr. Adams had been ill since last October, and death was attributed to a coronary condition.

He was born in Shelbyville Dec. 28, 1906 the son of Juan and Nellie(Wagner-Young)Adams, and was married here in 1926 to Florence Gue.

Mr. Adams had lived here until 1947 when he moved to Indianapolis.

He was employed as a foreman at the Allison Division of General Motors.

Surviving besides the wife are a son Gary at home; three sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Shadley, Lafayette, and Mrs. Edith Yeager and Mrs. Mary Billingsley, both of Shelbyville; a half-sister Mrs. Virginia Osborne, Shelbyville, and a half-brother Jack Young, Yavonia, Mich., and several nieces and nephews. One son preceded in death.

Mr. Adams was a member of the Speedway Methodist Church and the Speedway Masonic Lodge and Shrine. Funeral services will be at the Murphy Mortuary at 10:30 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Richmond Blake officiating.

Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery and friends may call at the mortuary after 7 p.m. today.

Masonic graveside rites will be held by the Speedway Masonic Lodge.
