Funeral services for, Lula Davis Boone, age 83, who
passed away at her home at Rebels Creek Dec. 21st, 1952. Services were held at the Rebels Creek Baptist Church Dec. 22, at 2:30 p m. The Rev. Sewell Woody and Rev. James Allred officiated. Burial was in Rebels Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Boone was a native of Mitchell County and has lived,
most of her life in the Rebels Creek community. She had
been a member of the Rebels Creek Baptist Church most of
her life.

Mrs. Boone was the daughter of the late, Mr. and Mrs.
Allen Davis. In 1885 she was married to Mr. Sam Boone who
passed away several years ago. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Allen Honeycutt of Newdale, and Mrs. Arthur Howell of Rebels Creek. Five sons: Ed of Spruce
Pine, Fred, Milton and John Nathan of Rebels Creek, and Harry of Micaville. Other survivors include 52 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 56 great, great,
grandchildren. Pall bearers were her grandsons. Flower bearers were her granddaughters. Funeral arrangements were by Webb Funeral Home.
