Charles Winn Dies at Family Home Here on Tuesday
Funeral services for Charles A. Winn, 67, who died at his home here Tuesday morning after an illness of several months duration will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon in the Third ward chapel.
Charles A. Winn was born at Richmond, April 28, 1865, a son of John and Elizabeth C. Winn. His marriage to Mary L. Rasmussen took place September 28, 1889, in the Salt Lake temple. After their marriage they lived in Idaho, in Wayne county, and in Richfield, moving from Richfield to Uintah county, and later returning to Richfield, which has been the family home the past 11 years. As young people both Mr. Winn and his late wife were active in L. D. S. church organizations, especially during the time they lived in Wayne county.
Surviving Mrs. Winn are three daughters and two sons, Lonnie Winn of Roosevelt, Mrs. Lila Jensen of Randlette, Mrs. Dora Powell of Glenwood, Mrs. Minnie Crosland of Richfield and Jesse Winn of Richfield; 15 grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. M. A. Wilkinson. His wife died two years ago.
