Funeral services were held Monday in Geils Funeral Home, Bensenville, for Lon Stanifer, 19, of 112 David Dr., Bensenville, who died suddenly Thursday in St. Alexius Hospital, Elk Grove Village from injuries suffered May 26 when his motorcycle apparently went out of control while he was attempting to pas a truck on York Rd. near Devon Ave in Elk Grove Village.
The Rev. Warren Seyfert of Peace United Church of Christ of Bensensenville, officiated. Burial was in Mount Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst, Illinois.
Surviving are his parents, Ray and Lois Stanifer of Bensenville, two sisters, Deborah and Terri, and a brother Mike all at home. a grandmother, Mrs. Maude Stanifer and a grandfather Omer J Wolfe and great grandmother Mrs. Edith Wolfe
