Michael H. Moriarty, 76 years of age, son of the late Michael and Jane (Hallisey) Moriarty died at his home 85 Concord st. yesterday after a brief illness. He was born in Ireland and came to this country alone as a youth when 14 years of age. For several years he resided in Connecticut and later came to this city. Until his retirement several years ago, he was employed by the White Mountain Freezer co. Mr. Moriarty was a man of exemplary character and high ideals. He devoted his life unselfishly to his home and is well remembered by a wide circle of friends for his knowledge of historical facts and national affairs. He is survived by his widow, Elizabeth F. (O'Shea) Moriarty, five daughters, Mary G., Martha, Marguerite, Frances and Esther and three sons, Daniel J., Joseph F. all of this city and Rev. Edward Q. Moriarty, SJ of Toronto, Ont. also one grandson, Michael Earles Moriarty, three sisters also survive, Mary E. and Katherine Moriarty of this city and Mrs. J. Robert Gibson of Concord, this state and one brother Daniel J. Moriarty also of this city. Friends may call at the home to pay their respects until 11 this evening and Sunday.
