Daniel Delauter was born in Frederick county, Maryland, May 22, 1845, and died Aug. 19, 1926, age eighty-one years, two months and twenty-eight days. He came to North Manchester inthe Spring of 1866, and in the fall of the same year was united in marriage to Hannah Grossnickle, who died two years ago. To them were born eight children, four of whom are living. He is survived by seventeen grandchildren, one brother and two sisters. He served as janitor of the Manchester church for over fifteen years. Funeral services were conducted by Elders A. L. Wright & L. D. Ikenberry.
