My Grand Mother and my Father's Mother, it's the picture on the left with the couple, as the one on the right is my Uncle Dennis, my father's little brother. She passed too soon with so much life left to live. Pictures of her are extremely rare and stories about her are even more so unless you're talking to the right Elder of my family. She died when my father was very young and I wasn't even a thought so to speak. He had a picture or two of her but they've been lost to time; this one until now. This picture was found by sheer accident by my Aunt; my father's sister. Even as a child i recall asking about her and even my father couldn't tell me much. Family legend states that she passed as a result of a witch's curse, others say it's from a spiteful neighbor poisoning her with fish as she got ill soon after eating some. I wish I could've gotten to know her, I wish she could see her Grand Children, her Great Grand Children, one of which is my Daughter, 12 yo at this writing. My Elder sister is named after her as my father made a promise that he would.
Rest In Peace Grandma.
