Lillie Longley, 84, widow of John H. Longley, passed away, Saturday, November 29 at Clark Regional Medical Center, Winchester. She was born June 29, 1930 in Powell County to the late James Robert and Lillie Green Rogers Townsend. Survivors include, son, Charles Emery Newton, Winchester; daughters, Irene Robinson, Mt. Sterling, and Diana Lynn Anderson, Winchester; sister, Liz Townsend, Stanton; grandchildren, 10; great-grandchildren, 19; and two great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughters, Brenda Sue Nelson, and Kathy Darlene Hatton, and sister Mary Gray. Burial in Kennon Cemetery, Clay City. Funeral services Monday, December 1 at 1:00 with visitation starting at 12:30. .
