Otto Kinkade 1899-1932
Otto worked as a coal miner and loved music according to Hallie his widow he strummed his guitar for many friends singing many times into the night.
His parents were Samuel Preston and Lillian Arendell Kinkade.
He married to Hallie Gish Kinkade in Central City Ky,
He and Hallie were the parents of Samuel , H W, James C, and Mildred Kinkade.

After a month long struggle with typhoid fever he passed away in the early morning hours , His son Samuel who also had the fever was at his side. Samuel recovered from the illness.

Unfortunatly typhoid was common among the tent cities in this rural community, at the onset of the illness he was brought to his inlaws Joseph & Ida Gish's home where he remained until his death

Also his wife spoke to the facts that Otto's father Samuel Preston Kinkade who had recently left the county to Henderson KY was devasted to learn of Otto's passing when word arrived to him nearly a month later
He himself passed just a few weeks later
