Hazleton Plain Speaker, Tuesday, May 28, 1957:
Mrs. Catherine (Henry) Fuehrer, 70, of 7 Washington avenue, West Hazleton, died this morning at 8 in the State Hospital. She had been a patient there for the past month. Born in Jeddo, June 23, 1886, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Patterson) Henry. She lived her entire life in this region. She was a member of the P.O. S. of A. and the Sons and Daughters of Liberty Lodge.

Her husband Henry died 15 years ago. She is survived by two sons, Leroy, Philadelphia; and Kenneth, West Hazleton; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Jacoby and Mrs. Albert Engle, Philadelphia; and a brother Adam Henry, West Hazleton. Three grandchildren also survive.

The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 from the Krapf and Hughes funeral home. Rev. Richard D. Abernethy, pastor of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church, will conduct the services and interment will be in Vine street cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10.
