She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one grandchild Leslie Kay Marshall .
She was the true example of a Christian woman. Her home was always open to anyone in need. She could cook up a meal on a moment's notice and was offended if you did not get at least one of her homemade sugar cookies before you left. Her baked macaroni and cheese was the absolute best and family dinners were not complete until it arrived. Her greatest joy was her family and she showered them with an untold number of homemade gifts which are our treasures.
Her siblings were: Katie Johnson Mayes, Lelia Johnson Lewis, Eula Mae Johnson Lewis, Darrell Johnson, Robert Lee Johnson, Marshall Johnson, and Edna Johnson Ramsey.
