Reese enjoyed golf and carpentry. Reese and Kaye are members of First United Methodist Church of West Monroe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, C. R. and Leona Peterson; and son, Charles “Chuck” Ray Peterson.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Kaye Peterson; sons, George Wakefield and Mark Parker; two grandchildren, Tiffany Peterson Turley and husband Patrick, Sammie Jo Bentley, and Michael Ray Peterson; three great-grandchildren, Aiden and Bella Turley, and Forever Peterson; brother, Herbert Peterson and wife Jane; sister-in-law, Darla Turner Sumlin and husband George; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 1:00PM until service time Wednesday at the cemetery.
