Augustine M. Ricci, 72, of 93 Pemberton St., a retired stonesetter, died Saturday at Roger Williams General Hospital. He was the husband of Antonetta (De Bartolo) Ricci.

A lifelong Providence resident, he was a son of the late Antonio and Lucia (Falco) Ricci.

Mr. Ricci worked for the McGrath-Hamin Jewelry Co., Providence, for 25 years, retiring seven years ago. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church.

Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Diana Arcand; a son, Anthony Ricci, both of Providence; a brother, Clarence Ricci of West Warwick, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Jane Almonte and Mrs. Gilda Charpentier, both of Johnston.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 8 a.m. from the Thomas Gattone & Son Funeral Home, 334 Broadway, with a Mass of Christian Burial at Blessed Sacrament Church, Academy Avenue, at 9. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
