Lila was a little dog with a great big heart. She was a loved member of our family and is greatly missed. Lila's personality charmed everyone she met. She enjoyed a full and wonderful life in our home and as the constant companion of Kyler (her people pet).

Lila was the inspiration for two books published under the name "the Poet's Bark" with her face used in the logo. She also inspired the "Texas Yap-Yap Chili" cook off team, was its official mascot and logo.

She went home to be one of God's most special angels on a warm spring afternoon, April 17, 2006.
