Born in Providence, he resided in Cranston for 80 years.

Mr. Centofante worked in the grinding department at the former Imperial Knife Company in Providence for 60 years, before retiring as a foreman.

Father of Rose E. Vessella of Cranston and Frank A. Centofante and his wife Sue of Madisonville, TN.

Grandfather of 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Brother of Irene Saccoccio of Bristol and the late Jennie DiCenzo, Albert, John and James Centofante.
