Funeral services for William Goins, 57, Wagoner farmer, were held at 2pm Tuesday in the Sandtown Baptist Church. He died in the Muskogee Veteran's Hospital on Saturday, January 15, 1966.
A World War II veteran, he had lived in Wagoner since 1944 and was a native of Providence, Tennessee.
Pastor N. Lee officiated the services with burial in the Sandtown Cemetery under the direction of the Hersman Funeral Home of Wagoner, Oklahoma.
Survivors are his wife, Mary; a son, William, Jr. and one daughter, Elaine, all of the home; three brothers, Webster Goins of Wagoner, Chester and Samuel Goins, both of Nashville, Tennessee; three sisters, Mrs. Martha Patton and Mrs. Lulu Sharber, both of Nashville and Mrs. Matilda Thomas of St. Louis, Missouri.
