Keith Buras went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at the age of 60. He was the beloved husband of the Monica Coupel Buras. Loving father of the late Keith Joseph Buras Jr, Angela Marie Buras and Marsha Ann Buras. Son of the late Irma "Mawmaw Tinkerbell" Simmons and John Buras. Stepson of the late David Simmons. Brother of Myles Buras and the late Joann Buras. He is also survived and fondly remembered by his six grandchildren: Gabbie, Seth, Lestat, Gavin, Evie and Giana. Family and friends attended a memorial service on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Chalmette in Chalmette, LA. Donations/memorials can be made to First Baptist Church.
