STAR - Oct 17 - Claud A Asbill, 74, of Biscoe, died in a Morganton hospital last night. He is survived by his wife, Mrs Mossie Asbill of High Point; one daughter, Mrs James Almond of Pilot Mountain; three sons, Jake and Claud Asbill of High Point and Paul Asbill of Charlotte; one brother, Ernest Asbill of Biscoe; three sisters, Mrs George Scott of Star, Mrs J D Burgart of Greensboro and Mrs J R Holt of Louisburg; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral serices will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Laurel Hill Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
