The Clinton Herald Wednesday January 7, 1942 p. 5 Elizabeth Iten Burrell, formerly of 731 North Second street, died Tuesday morning in Los Angeles, Calif., according to word received by relatives. The body is to be brought to Clinton for burial in Springdale cemetery. Details of time of arrival and funeral services will be announced later. Elizabeth Iten was born Feb. 2, 1867, in Rock Island, Ill., where she was married Jan. 24, 1891, to Arthur Burrell. They made their home in Clinton many years. Mr. Burrell died July 14, 1926. Mrs. Burrell moved to Los Angeles in 1927. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Nielsen, Los Angeles; and Mrs. Sadie Magee, Clinton; two brothers, Frank J. Iten and Louis C. Iten, Clinton, and a sister, Mrs. Sadie J. Scribner, Los Angeles. There are also two grandsons and three granddaughters. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Iten, and a sister, Miss Anna M. Iten.
